Hello! I have a question concerning sponsorship and openwork permit. I am from Canada and i married my husband who is from Ghana. I was wondering if I can apply for sponsorship and openwork permit at the same time., I have not yet mailed out the papers. If it is possible how long will it take? also is it better to just apply for sponsorship without open work permit? Please and thank you PMM

Is your spouse in Canada? You can only submit the OWP if you apply inland and that requires that you both be cohabiting in Canada.
