Finaly my mother got visa but only 6 months not till passport expity....pls help this y we didn't get visa till expiry, and pls tell me can v apply super visa with in canada when she came on trv.

Hi Nitin,

Congrats.

Your mom got a 6-months TRV based on the assessment made by the visa officer (ie her ties to India + the purpose of her visit, etc).

You can apply to extend her authorized stay/visitor status for up to 2 years.... when her 6 months visit is coming to an end.

As for a super visa, she must apply for it from India

Cheers

Hi all,

I applied for my parents visiting visa online on March 25th. Now me and my wife are permanent residents here. We both have permanent full time jobs. I am showing $24k savings in my account. Our household income is $120k.
I also applied them when I was student for my graduation and it got rejected. It was 4 years ago.

On March 26th, we received just one email saying that; they started processing and there is no update after that. My previous rejection is making me nervous. How long does it take to get the result ?

Thanks.

Relax. Your previous status as student has no impact on your mom's previous TRV refusal. If she has demonstrated that the previous refusal reasons no longer exist + she has a genuine purpose of visit/a good financial situation (hers, not yours)/ strong ties then she will get a TRV
