Guys, apologies for being a bearer of bad news but people from October, November and some from even December have started to get PPR's now. I guess there aren't many of us who are left here in May. My application is in London Visa office, who are absolutely dreadful. I have been told that the backlog is their current priority but haven't heard anyone from either April, May or June got any PPR's recently.

However, The most recent response that I have received from DRD which was around 2 weeks ago that my file is going through a routine background check. I take it as being a progress from the previous responses which were "my file is with an immigration officer".
Hi ReyKhan,
I am getting this reply from london office since december. Now even my medicals are expired and i did not get remedical request. I am going to complete one year by the end of april. I dont know how much more time its going to take.

I feel for you bud. We are all in a messed up situation, guess we were the unlucky ones. My medical expires on the 3rd of next month and I'm thinking of dropping LVO a line to ask what are they going to do about that. What I don't understand is that how are they processing Oct, Nov and Dec applicants and issuing PR's whilst people like us from May and June are way ahead in the queue. Clearly there has to be some kind of complain procedure that one could initiate.

Initially, i was of the view that those who are requested any Additional Docs do not fall in 6 months timeline. But now i have seen many who have not been requested any docs and are with us. It seems our application has not been touched at all since october, when we were requested Schedule A. There is a term they use "Parked". I guess our files are PARKED

Yeah I didn't get any ADR's as I applied through a solicitor, who submitted everything upfront. I'm waiting for my first GCMS notes to arrive by the end of next week so hopefully will have a better picture then. I have become super frustrated and disgruntled with all this waiting nuisance. Have you always had your correspondence with DRD or anyone else as well?

Yes i am corresponding with them ever since i have put my application, because of initial change of address and later on when they asked schedule A. Since december, whenever i have asked them they say my background check is going on. My file is at London offuce since August 2017

True ! We all have become frustrated because we cant decide for big things in our life in this situation. We cannot settle anywhere else, cannot move anywhere else while this application is going on. Cant get admission anywhere for further studies .... what else! Its exhausting

Ah totally get your point brother because I'm currently going through exactly the same phase. I don't want to miss out on other opportunities due to the lack of consideration from LVO. Do you reckon that you've been selected for SS ??

Feel your pain mate. There has to be something that we can do or someone whom we can complain in order to get our files moving.
If we knew an office to submit our complaint to would be great.
When i wrote to my VO they said that the delay in processing is out of their hand as they rely on external authorities ( which in these case are likely to be CBSA & CSIS )

Do you reckon that they've sent our files for SS? Because if that's the case then there's no time frame for it. It could be 2-3 months or a year depending on our lucks.
