I've had complete silence between late September and now. So 6 months of nothing basically.

That is a long time indeed. I hope they processed your bgc already and will issue you dm and ppr soon. Its good too see so many people getting updates lately. I havent had a update for almost 4 months now either. Thinking about ordering gcms notes and emailing the vo soon.

From experience, emailing the VO is pointless you'll just get a reply with no new information just "you're application is in a queue to be processed".

I don't know about my BGC, it's never updated to in process in GCKey, but who knows. If I'm getting the pre-arrival email that typically means DM is not far off, right?

Yeah they usually send the same automated response, but i have read about someone that got some progress after he emailed them with the question if there anything they need, so its worth a shot.

Vienna seems to update bgc when they give dm or close to it so you should be good.

Congrats to all who have got their PPR's. I still haven't had any updates even though my timelines are almost identical to @balkan17 and others..
hope something happens soon... I feel very discuraged but hoping for the best still. congratulations to everyone though!

Here an update on my application: I Received the Pre-Arrival Services letter today.
So I'm guessing this is good news ?

Living in The Netherlands together with my canadian spouse.
Sent Family Sponsership Application to the CIC: Nov 04, 2017
CIC Received Application: Nov 14, 2017
Processing Application PA: Jan 09, 2018
PA Received UCI & Appl. Number: Jan 23, 2018
Processing Application Sponsor: Jan 23, 2018
Sponsor Received UCI & Appl. Number: Jan 24, 2018
Sponsor received Approval for Sponsering PA: Jan 30, 2018
PA received request for Schedule-A: Jan 29, 2018
PA sent Schedule-A upon request: Jan 29, 2018
PA Received Medical Request: Jan 29, 2018
PA did Medical examination: Feb 08, 2018 (2days later GCkeys sayed "You passed the medical exam."
PA received request for PCC: Jan 29, 2018
PA sent Police Certificate of Conduct (PCC): Feb 08, 2018
Application is fowarded to Vienna: Feb 06, 2018 (never got an official AOR2, but after sending an email they confirmed they had the application)

My cousins husband received his passport back from Vienna today, it was delivered to our local VAC back home. It took 4 business days to be received and sent back. I am so happy that the wait is finally over for her. I am praying for good news to come soon. This is going to be a looong weekend for me lol

Her husband dropped off the passport at the VAC in prishtina. They sent it to Vienna, and now Vienna returned it back to the same VAC. They phoned him to tell him it is ready for pick up, or they can mail it to his home address.
Because the VAC is only 1 hour or so from the city, he will go to pick it up.

I explained in my first post that the whole process of sending it and receiving it back took 4 business days.

last week on thursday i mail my passport to vac office i got the conformation on 3.april this week tuesday that they forwarded to vienna embassy still waiting

I would expect that around tuesday or wednesday next week it will be sent back to the VAC from Vienna. Then another day or so until it is delivered to you

I totally understand how you feel.. you cant even compare yourself with other people with similar timelines anymore... Some of the applicant who applied after me got their PPR before me, and I have been waiting for it since last week tuesday

do you know how to check my visa status on website that it shows visa approved ?
