I sent it on Tuesday, and on Friday my GCkey was update with passport number.

YAY! Our gc key was updated today. Husband was officially approved and gc key was updated with passport number!! Still waiting for the passport to come back though.

After it is updated it usually akes around 2 business days to come back from what i have heard

Urrrrgggg even though final decision says approved and it was updated with the passport number it still reads that they need additional documents to continue processing the application!! Has this happened to anyone else? It makes no sense my husband sent all the documents they asked for along with the passport. It also doesn’t specify what documents he needs, it just reads “client information, replacement needed”. I’m assuming that all is well seeing as how his passport was updated in the gc key and counter foil document was issued???

Under “document status” section they update your passport number and the document number of the counterfoil they issue in your passport.

That is assuming you’re from one of the countries that requires an immigrant counterfoil. Most countries don’t..

Never. I'm a British citizen, my wife a Canadian citizen. Travelled to and from Canada many times over the years, never an issue.

I've had complete silence between late September and now. So 6 months of nothing basically.
