Please Urgent Help - Expired PR card can I invite Mom in Supervisa

My PR card expired a month ago can I still invite my mother in Supervisa.

If I renew my PR current deadline is almost 3 month and another 100 days for Super-visa processing.

Can I submit Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) instead of PR card.

I saw in supervisa section it says:

• a photocopy of a document proving your status in Canada, such as
  • a Canadian birth certificate, if you were born in Canada,
  • a Canadian citizenship card, if you are a naturalized citizen, or
  • a copy of your PR card or your IMM 1000 proof of landing (I was given IMM 5688 (CoPR) when we landed if you are a permanent resident

Yes you definitely can use the COPR as proof as status and it would not hurt the application to add the expired card because the PR Card is usually just a travel document

I was looking for information about it in cic website. Is there anything that you think documented about it.

I am in the same situation, I have applied for renewal already but still waiting for the renewed card and want to apply supervisa for my Mother. Can I attach COPR or what document can I attach?
