You can link your application online and see status thereWe applied on march 13 2018 TRV through vfs chandigarh . Vfs status showing application is been processed at new delhi office . To know more contact vac office or call them
Is there any way to check more details on file status with cic through their automated phone system ???
It all depends when your review of eligibility starts. Generally, yes paper submission is comparatively faster. But at the end, they cannot keep your passport for months (as online application may take 6-12 months also). Are online applications processed slowly as compared to submitting paper based applications at VFS?
Thanks for the response. But on CIC website, there is no differentiation between the processing time specifically stating Online vs Paper. Also, did you intend to write 6-12 months, really? For a TRV it should ideally be processed in max 6 weeks even when processing time mentioned on CIC is 15 days.It all depends when your review of eligibility starts.
