I am also in the same boat. Is marriage certificate a must for parents or there is any other alternative for that?

I recommend not leaving UCI column blank if your parents have dealt with CIC/ IRCC in the past. In your case, they have a visitor visa stamp on their passports, so you should put UCI mentioned on the stamp.
This is absolutely wrong , this is not the UCI . You have to leave this as blank . UCI is issued once u deal for immigration with embassy , not while going for visitor or study visa

Hi ,

I just filled out IMM 1344 , when I try to open it back I am seeing an error
"CO -signer Contact Information -
The format you entered in the following field was incorrect .
1: Telephone No (Country Code)

The Correct format is:
Must be numeric and must not start wilth '11'
"

I am not sure how is it picking 11 instead of 1 , anyone else is facing same issue??

Thanks

I was hoping not to have my wife co-sign sponsorship for my mom but I am confused. Any help is much appreciated.

My family size was 3 in 2015 and 2016. My daughter was born in 2017 so now the family size is 4. For current undertaking, while sponsoring my mom the family size grows to 5.

I have the notice of assessment from 2015, 2016 and 2017. For all three years should I have to consider family size to be 5? Or can I consider family size of 4 for 2015 & 2016 while consider 5 for 2017?

The reason I ask is for 2015 I do not meet min. income requirements for 5 people but if I have my wife co-sign the sponsorship I meet the min. income requirements. In the image below, I meet the min. income requirements (shown in yellow highlight)

Your family size is calculated when you apply. If you've calculated it properly and it's 5, then you would have to meet minimum requirements for a family of 5 for the previous years as well.

You would have to consider the family size as 5.
In this case Your best bet will be to add your wife as a co-signer.

Hi All,

I have an inquiry about the below , are we going to add the 30 percent on the below table, or this is already included?
I was trying to call CIC to get more info on this, however their lines are very busy.
Any help will be appreciated, thank you!

Minimum Necessary Income requirement for sponsors of parents and grandparents
If you are sponsoring a parent or a grandparent, you must meet the minimum necessary income requirement for each of the three taxation years immediately preceding the date of your application. The minimum necessary income requirement is equal to the Low Income Cut-offs (LICOs) plus 30%, taking into account the number of family members for whom you are or will be financially responsible.

Federal Income Table for sponsors of parents and grandparents

The following table applies to residents of all provinces except Quebec. For each of the three consecutive taxation years preceding the date on which the application is submitted to us, the sponsor (and co-signer, if applicable) must meet the Minimum Necessary Income, which is based on the Low Income Cut-offs plus 30%.
