It varies from person to person. If you havent had any travels during your eligibility period, the CBSA part wont be that extensive. If you've had extensive travels, then yes it might take time.
Similarly if you've been switching among many jobs, verification takes time. So it really depends from person to person. See the sheet. Looks at the time between IP & DM for different people.

We don't know how long those checks take. The spreadsheet can at best give a vague indication, but realise there are few data points, and with the influx of applications in the aftermath of C6 there is additional uncertainty.
There have been some people on the forum who were told, at their interview, that CSIS is bogged down by the number of cases they have to process, so security clearances are taking longer to be issued.

Last 7 year I never fly any where i switched one job only
I passed my test on March 6
There are OCT/NOV/DEC/JAN/FEB/MAR spreadsheets . Just refer the spreadsheets and you could get some insight .

My first year here I have so many odd jobs because I never lasted 2 weeks due to fact I’m not used to fixing broken down machines kinda work which made my application 3 pages more. I make the mechanics do those dirty stuff. All these while Im trying to get my license in Alberta.
Had my test and DM the next day. Then oath after a month.
Most probably it depends on the office processing you.
