Wow, how long would it take then? So after medicals security and criminality check? If you pass then a green light and ppr?

Normally case by case. Every time I called cic, they are like parrot and ask me to wait wait.

I don't think so! I am also a Chemical Engineer and it all went smooth for me except the upfront medical causing a few weeks of delay. I am a September 12 applicant and got PPR on 7 March.

Man I am still stucked , Med is passed but still no update , what to do next ?

Keep patience, it will come when it will be due. Try MP option, it worked well for me!

I think they have concerns with engineering degree.i did computer engineering and waiting for ppr , bgip feb 27, sept 20 applicant.

Called cic this morning , they said they are doing one more verification I.e security and probably it should take 1-2 weeks.
Still not satisfied with the answers.

Same they told me since January!
I thought this country was different,i am so disappointed!We invest out future here we work and pay taxes and still they even dont care!So sad!

I told them that I am in stressed and will loose the job if i won’t get my status by the end of April , but they really don’t care for us .

Last time i called was 3 weeks ago!I called just to confirm if security was started or not!I feel you,i am in the same situation,20 months gone!So much stress,can not focus!Even my patience is running out!

They said they are doing security and it won’t go more than 1-2 weeks.
