Hey! I am glad you received your notes :D ... I am not much of an expert but how did you find these notes? Did they indicate better progress than expected or did they reflect the same thing (IP1)?

I see everything is positive and there is nothing specific making your application stuck (not from your side at least).

I will be receiving my notes in few days now too ... Let's see how it turns out :)

The notes indicate I'm actually in NA2 (as eligibility is almost done, employment verification almost got done, funds, etc. also almost done).

I found the notes to be very very helpful. I am now a lot less anxious, knowing that things are moving regardless of #IP14ever.

Good luck for your notes! Please do share your insights when you get them.

NOC Code......
5221
AOR Received.
18-05-2018
I submitted my application on 9th March, Meds passed on 15th March, IP1 on 16th since then my status has not changed is it normal? I have read people get NA2 within few hours or 1-2 days. my profile says your file is in progress. we will send you a msg when BG check starts. NO additional document required. Should I be worried?

I wanted to raise a question about a similar case but then read what people have said here! they have been stuck at IP1 for month.
But I understand you feeling because my timeline is similar to yours..

CSR 455 FSW-O
AOR 7March
MEP 16 March
IP1 16 March till now ..

I don't need an ADR as I never lived in the states but I am originally from Saudi Arabia (would that make me suspicious?:p
so I guess I may have some rights to be slightly worried  (maybe)

As we are all waiting here to get released from IP14ever situation, can at least someone reassure us by saying it's unlikely (while waiting at IP1status) to receive an email saying your application has been cancelled??

I guess if that is unlikely, I would worry less that I have been ... Would Saudis need more time to be checked ?

I am a female with a PhD ... just hope to get any negative emails/news from CIC

No,NA2 never happens within hours, ideally someone will open your file and take atleast a week to clear R10,the after a week your file will be handed over to another guy and he will give his recommendations, the third guy normally a CPO will give his recommendation and transfer file to LVO or Ottawa. It would only happen with in hours,if you are reapplying or you are the only applicant CIC is processing, and there is noting to worry about for atleast 2-3 months.

Why would you hope to get negative emails from CIC?,Read my reply above. No CIC wont discriminate if you are from Saudia or States, because of situation prevailing in the world in general,it is possible anyone could take more time to process.Always hope for the best and prepare yourself for the worst, and you'll be fine

Thanks for your reassuring email .. I certainly meant hoping to NOT receiving any negative news or emails...
So, do you know how likely to get rejection at the stage of IP1?

Right now your file must be going through R10 checks and if your file is complete,if it is not your application will be cancelled(which is different from rejection) .There are fewer chances after your file has cleared the eligibility from CPO,however there are still chances that it can still get rejected at a later stage till you get PPR.

Guys what is the difference between GCMS and CBSA/CSIS? Is it worth ordering CBSA/CSIS in our case (Stuck in IP1 for 9 weeks) or is it non-value adding?

Thanks :)

 How can my application be incomplete? It says "We do not need additional documents". Why would they cancel it if it is not complete? Why don't they ask me to provide them with the extra documents instead??
I am more worried now ... :(

I believe at this stage the 'burden of proof' lies with the applicant. It is upto the applicant (before eligibility) to provide a completed application. Some agents may follow up with candidates for missing documents but that's not the precedent they want to set. I read this on article once and don't know if that has changed.

Last time my application got cancelled a week after my AOR, even before the medical result was updated.. they told me that it was incomplete ... I read on other threads, that if you pass the medical exam and u get the notification/update, it's then unlikely to get rejected ..

Oh guys, u r worrying me to death now

There you go

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html#s04

I guess you have gone through the R10 Checks,so hopefully your application will not be cancelled.
