hopefully this trend will continue as it seems people that had their documents transferred in October are almost done, our application transferred October 30th 2017.

I do not think it will take too long for your PPR I believe once you get the pre arrival its almost like they are wrapping up the processing, at least thats what ive been told.
Hopefully next week will be good news for my wife and I, as well since we are only 10 days apart!

Hey guys my partner got their PPR today!
Timeline:
App received: May 28th, 2017
AOR1: June 28th, 2017
SA : July 5th, 2017
Med passed : August 9th, 2017
AOR2 : N/A
ECAS In Process : July 13th, 2017
BGC and requesting RCMP criminal record check with fingerprints : Febuary 2nd, 2018 (It took 28 days to get the criminal record check uploaded)
Pre arrival letter: Febuary 5th, 2018
PPR: Today! but it doesnt say decision made yet or anything on gckey.
And since my partner is from Germany they dont need to send their actual passport, only a scan with a passport photo to get the "Confirmation of Permanent Residence" form (IMM-5688) to be able to enter Canada.

It's almost 15 day's after i have done the interview under a Family Sponsorship category as a dependent child in the embassy here in Vienna
And they didn't respond back!.
I felt good after the interview because it was fast and not complicated.

I will really appreciate if you or someone you know have experienced the same situation can share your experiences & opinions about
What the after interview wait period is
And what the sequence of steps after the interview ?.
I have submitted my med and other requested documents in October 2017.

HiI am Canadian citizens, and I sponsored ,my husband from Vienna Austria, he is residents of Vienna not citizens.
On May ,2016 I Applied all the sponsorship Documents.
On July ,27,I received letter from CIC that ,I met the all requirements and now the case has been forwarded to Vienna visa office recived 1 august 2016
Till that day, waiting for such long background check , it's 2018 finally my husband got email on February 22,2018 that they need ,re-medical and new police certificate.
My husband submitted all and on March 8,got email that his medical is passed.
Now still waiting for police verifications.
ANY BODY KNOW HOW LONG MORE WILL THE VIENNA POLICE TO VERIFY THE CERTIFICATE? ?
I am 5 months pregnant ,very stress about it,took too long I hope they do faster these things now.
Please help me with information.is it the last stage of process I hope :/??

Wow, that is a very long time and I hope you get good news soon. I don't think anyone here can give you a good guess as to how long it will take, unfortunately. However, I would say that them asking for a re-medical and new PCCs means they're looking to finalize everything soon.

I would, however, recommend that you contact your Member of Parliament in Canada asking if they could ask Vienna for a status update and any indication as to how long it will take. You seem to be well past the normal time for processing.

I'm sorry to hear about all the stress, but I do sincerely hope that you get a good answer soon. It's easier said than done but try to be patient and relax, and hope for a good, and fast outcome.
