Hi , I have received AOR2 as well on 22nd of March stating that the file has been transferred to the New Delhi Visa office .

I guess our apps so far has been on track which is very good news

Our application has the same status as yours & its visa office is New Delhi as well.
PA's Ecas status changed from "Application Received" to "In process".
So do check your PA's Ecas account. BDW did you got your AOR2 by any chance?

Even I got an email last night at 10:30PM EST from CIC saying your file is transferred to New Delhi Visa office..
But I dont think its AOR2. We should get another email from New Delhi saying we received your application & thats AOR2.

Hi there,

That doesn't sound good. You should have received an acknowledgement by now via email if you submitted your application back in Nov 2017. Although cases do vary per person. There's only one way to find out about the status of your application and that is to call them directly. You may contact CIC at: 1-888-242-2100. You may call them anytime you want. There's no penalty in doing so.

So I called them - they have the receipt of payment but no application attached to it. I've had several conversations with them with several different people and they are now suspecting the application was lost and I may have to re-apply. When they search using name, birthday, sin, etc nothing shows up lol. What a freaking joke. I first called on March 1 to which they said they are processing December 15th applications for outland.

i also got the mail from CPC Mississauga that File has been transferred to NDVO.
I believe thats AOR2.

Jan 8 may file was transferred to MVO and medical passed january 19 and still no update . is that normal?

This isnt AOR2. Its simply notification that your file was transferred. You may or may not get official aor2. Once you see line in ecas tgat says “we started processing your app on xx-xx-xxxx” thats the aor2

From current trend, it looks like in Aug-Sept 2018, we should get it DM/PPR.

I was wondering this as well. I'd hope it doesn't take that long as those in October 31st have already gotten DM.
