I am in exact situation- FTE on H1B with bachelors. That's what I did, Lady luck shined and was able to move from 419 to 469 ---currently waiting for Passport request, you will be there soon.
if you are a FTE to a American client company then there is nothing to worry... why are you worried..
Only people with EC model are worried little, EVC little more and EVVC worried much more

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
So one last question, since my education is not valid till ECA is done - In the profile I submitted, Do I still mention it and show No ECA done OR just leave that piece Blank and say No Education?

Just want to ensure that later on (if ever) I need to go for ECA it shouldn't look like I presented wrong information since I have Master's in place.
You don't need to mention it in the education section but you must mention it in the personal history section. Again, no proof of your educational credentials is required.

Thanks however for secondary applicant there are 3 rows to fill in - Personal Details, Study and Languages and Work History. The education can only be filled in "Study and Language section" where it also asks if ECA is there or not.

Yes happens all the time. Bug in the IRCC website. I got it a couple of times although there was no change in my profile.

The problem is not with getting RFE's but more towards an uncertain future and the way new rules are coming up you never know what might change. I am also working as an FTE but Canada still seems a way better option.

It's great to understand the H1B folks' point of view. Just have one question to them. Do all or most of them carry higher CRS scores like >450?
It would be helpful for us (non H1B) people to determine the future CRS trend and how H1Bs could influence it.
Thanks
Sorry to say but i know 4 people who recently applied and all of them are above 450 but it would be hard to generalize this because of miss-use of H1 visas and probability of those folks applying for EE.

Thank you for the response. I thought there was a late night draw :p
In the same vein, I wondered why IRCC was at work 3am on a Sunday:D:D

As of now for express entry profile just say no education and no work experience. After you receive ITA there will be a personal history section where you can mention all your education and work experience. You won't have to provide any documents or proofs for this.

Well I am definitely giving up on making it to Canada this year :)

I have the opportunity to take on some extra study starting in May, which will boost my CRS points to 434/429, somewhere around November of this year. ( and I can't really increase any further due to age ). I am just trying to work out if the additional cost would be worth it. (I guess an extra certificate couldn't do any harm anyway).

If that doesn't work then I give up completely. At least I tried as hard as I could ;)
Same here.. Though hv been quite optimistic throughout this journey.. But cant control factors like age..hv maximixed experience and Ielts.. And education too..so no hopes left now :(

I wish Canada can allow applicants to add their spouse/common-law partner foreign work experience. I think they should do it. If the spouse will accompany the main applicant, then the spouse will be a major factor to contribute to the Canadian economy. It makes sense

We should start a thread about this. Maybe voices will be heard?

yeah, but then it exists atm as a differentiating factor like say a TEF, or a blood relative - I believe it makes perfect sense keeping a variety of other factors in mind like age, qualification, etc.
