Apply for Canada Visitor Visa on 6 march 2018

Hi,

After submitting TRV paper file on 6 march 2018, now I am getting this info when track my file number:

Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxxxxxx is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

I got ( USA B1 10 years multipal business ) visa in 2015 and came back in time with in 6 months in 2015 so its still valid. Now in 2018, I want to go Canada with my wife on temp resi visa.

*** How much time it will take to get Visa?
*** Does USA B1 10 years multipal business visa can have any weightage while getting this Canada visa?
*** Does the embassy send Visa issue status on email first that I mentioned in the form OR I will come to know once I get the passport ?

if u submitted offline mode application you ll know the result once you recieve your passport and usa visa help you a bit in getting canadian visa. hope for the best

Try to link your paper application to your cic account so u should get an email from them which would clearly show if your visa is approved or refused.

Visa application, tracking ID No.20180306INCDTRV62608 – Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 21/03/2018 vide courier partner. To track the status of the shipment, please visit courier partner website.

Submitted paper file reg myself and my wife on 6th March 2018.... I also attached my USA B1 10 years multipal business visa copy along with other papers.

........Not sure what will be the visa status? ........I HOPE POSITIVE......

They send passport back with in 10 days if I exclude sat and sun...

Do you think is it too fast?

I am nervous but HOPEFULLY as well....

I’m very sure that your visa has been approved since you had a US Visa, for US Visa holders, the processing is very fast. (CAN+)

Does it say CAN+ on visa ?

Hopefully, I will get the passport today as they couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 21/03/2018 and today 22 March here.

PP Request received on 21st March
PP Sent to Embassy in Abu Dhabi through Aramex on 21st March

Hi everyone,

Finally yesterday got passport and by the grace of God, me and my wife got multiple visa.

Get it with in 15 days including Sat and Sunday.....

Its really a excellent fourm for suggestions and getting advices.

Thanks to all for their best wishes ... I will still remain in touch with this forum bec I am sure it will help me a lot once I reach there as well.....
