How far back does work experience have to be?

hello,
I am looking into express entry or temporary work permit and was wondering how far back does the work experience have to be ?
i worked in diferent occupations during last 5 years not related so do i need reference letters for these jobs too or only the skilled worker jobs I had?

You should only mention the skilled ones in the working experience (and thus get a reference letter for each one of them).
Then, in the Personal History section, you should put everything (education, working experience (skilled and non related)) for the last 10 years.

Ok so in the forms its ok to just write skilled work experience even if there will be gaps in years or months?

I was looking at this website:

And it talks about:
You will also need proof that you meet the requirements of the job, such as:

• proof of education, or
• work experience.

Does this mean I need to have either my accredited education from WES or just work experience or do I need to show both to immigration?

Thanks for reply so do you think just work experience letters will be ok and I dont have to get my diplomas sent for ECA accreditation when I submit my application?

ECA has nothing to do with determining work experience. That's what I mean when I said you're overthinking it.

However, ECA is a must if you're applying for FSW. If you're applying to CEC, ECA is optional. If you went to a Canadian school, ECA isn't necessary.
