they dont give free cancellation, that is only for few hours
no website, no agent, no airline, no festive offer provides the free cancellation offer unless you ticket is booked under that category (which is so costly that already includes cancellation charges).

and such promotion is not even offered to an airline employee.

those websites offer free cancellation only for few hours, because eitherway it takes them few hours to process your order and convey it to the airline reservation system (GDS)
