Is it possible that those who havent got updates are qeued for an interview? Or if that would have to happen would you be told long time ago? Bc I know few May applicants were interviewed in Dec and Jan and got Dm already. Just wondering why certain applications are being ignored.

i would suggest not to,
its NDVO,
some applicants of this forum have experience of not receiving passport for more than 1 month
