Hi All,

I am currently in the Philippines. By any chance an ITA will be given, I will have to apply for the PCC from UAE. Has anyone tried acquiring it from the Philippines?

Hi,

You should be able to apply for one as per the instructions below:

For those applying from another country:
(1) You will need to get a fingerprint card approved by the UAE or any GCC council
(2) 2 recent passport-sized photographs
(3) Valid passport copy
(4) UAE visa copy, if possible, and
(5) Purpose for applying.
This can be done either online or through the Dubai Police GHQ website.

Thanks for the info. I found the following as well. However, I'm not sure if I understand Item 2 & 3 correctly. Does it mean that I should go to any local police station for assistance on acquiring fingerprints?

  • 1 Print the full form for the tow papers in A4 (Ten print & Palms) To download PDF form press here
  • 2 Finger print acquisition (rolled ten fingers, slaps, writers & palms) in the police station by trained person (specialized fingerprint person) mention his name and number in the space provided.
  • 3 Signature of the person who printed the fingerprints with the stamp of the police station where he works.
  • 4 Certified the fingerprints form by the Ministry of foreign & the UAE embassy of home country.
  • 5 Sending the stamped original copy with required documents for good conduct certificate by post.
  • 6 We do not accept the fingerprints and optical fingerprints printed by non-authorized person (notary, attorney's offices...).
  • 7 You must send the Biometric Card Photocopy by B.O.BOX 1493.
  • 8 For more information, call Dubai police @ 009714201419 or 0097146096851.

Hi,
Have you tried searching for agencies that get it done? It might be an expensive option but they take care of everything. Otherwise as mentioned in the above post, you can get the fingerprints done yourselves and get it attested.

Yes, from what I understand you need to print the form provided and take it with you to the local police station and get your fingerprints taken and have them sign on the form. Then you need to get it attested by foreign affairs and UAE embassy.
Going to an agency is also an option as @ankitptrivedi has mentioned, in case you are not confident about doing it yourself.

Also, better double check if you have your old emirates ID or a copy somewhere, as I heard it becomes more complicated if you don't have that.

If you are not a citizen of the United Arab Emirates:

If you live outside of the United Arab Emirates: (but have lived in the UAE for more than 6 months)
You may either apply:
  1. In person if you are back in the UAE or ask a representative (a friend, relative or colleague) in the UAE, with a power of attorney, to apply on your behalf at the police department in your emirate (see Special notes and considerations for complete list)
  2. You can apply at the nearest UAE Embassy
  3. By express mail
You or your representative must bring/send:
  • A set of fingerprints certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in the country where you currently live
  • A copy of your valid passport
  • A copy of your former Emirates ID card
  • A copy of your former residence visa
  • Two (4x6 cm) photographs
  • Applicable fees
If you live in Canada: Please visit the UAE Embassy’s website for more detailed instructions
If you live in the Philippines: Please visit the UAE Embassy in Manila’s website for more detailed instructions

@Nobatia

Upon checking Dubai Police website, I saw that the conditions of not having an Emirates ID as well as not located in the UAE can be indicated int he online form.(https://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/wps/portal/home/services/individualservices/goodconductcertificate?firstView=true)

I surrendered my Emirates ID when I left the company but I'm sure that my old residence visa is linked to my Emirates ID. I hate to assume but I'm just being optimistic. :)

@ankitptrivedi

I will have to check on that.

The agency that I got it done through here in India said it’s not necessary to have Emirates ID, but I provided it anyways as I had it with me. So I think it’s alright if you don’t have it.

Hi nicoo,, have u done with yours?im from Philippines
Hi sha_david,

Not yet since i still didnt get any ITA. Anyway, there is a way to get your PCC even if you are from the Philippines. You may inquire at NBI since they will be the one assisting you to get your fingerprints stamped on the UAE PCC form.

Hi!

I have done some research and found out that after stamping your prints on the UAE PCC form with the assistance of NBI, it is the DFA that will forward your application to the UAE embassy, however, I still have to verify it.

Hi, I also have the same issue. I’m from the Philippines and would like to secure a PCC in Dubai. Now, i just had my fingerprint authenticated from DFA and UAE Embassy, I also applied through online and paid. My concern now is how and where should I mail this authenticated document? I guess this is the last requirement I need to submit before they release my police clearance, it’s been 3 weeks already since I applied online and got no response.

Please help!

Thank you
