Well, i have a simple answer to this.

Its IRCC bro! They can do whatever they want.

I just wanted to know if there is any reason which was known to anyone or even speculation is good but I think IRCC word itself is enough

This year IRCC has prioritised PNPs.
So I don’t think they will hit the ITA numbers like last year. But yes they will surely hit their “target” of PRs issued. It seems all draws will be synchronised along with PNP requirements.
People like myself (@428) have no chance in the general draw. I’ll have to take the PNP route for sure. And by April end I will be loosing 5 points too

Well the safest part is April will be the worst moth for you for me it's July...I hope NOI comes down to 428 before u r birthday...There are people who have received NOI this week but not sure about CRS for them

Three weeks ago I was in your shoes and I know how it feels to be waiting for ITA. Twice I was sure I would receive ITA but draw didn't happen in those weeks resulting in an increase in cut-off. Once I had the same score as the cut-off but I missed the draw due to tie-breaking rule.

Finally, I received ITA on the February 21st and I submitted my profile on the February 24th. Nowadays, the waiting game continues but rather than waiting for ITA, applicants are waiting for PPR. I know some people who have been waiting for more than a year and others who received PPR in less than a month. My point is that anyone who has stepped into the immigration path should be ready for waiting for long periods of time and hoping for the best. Good luck everyone!

Today's draw is mostly to clean up high ranked profiles (again), before we return to our normal schedule.

Clean up job huh...Well let's see...I don't have hopes this week...It would be at least 442...But let's hope for higher ITA number

To be honest ROH these days is not that active compared to 2017 ...People's hopes have been crushed by IRCC...Ohhhh dear IRCC send some rays through today's draw...Amen...

Could have been the snow storm / extreme weather advisory that was out last week because of which they might have pushed it....
But its all speculation only !! In the end.. its IRCC and they can do pretty much what they like..

Fingers crossed for today !! Last week was a disappointment !!
