No. People tend to find out when they get the invitation to write the test.

we won't get an email saying the app is in process right? just check ecas right?

In Process status can only be seen by ECAS or they will send some email/letter. I received my AOR by 13th Feb'2018 but still have Application Received Status.
Any Idea/Advise

Yes we now should be anticipating Test Invite Email from CIC.
No emails for "In Progress" status.
That's correct check ECAS daily to see if ur application status changes to "In Progress"...
The trend should be in same manner as every one got their AORs.

i tried to check the status of my app on ecas but I think I clicked on the wrong link which sent me to the address change page...anyhow I did "an update" to the address...still same address though....but is that going to cause any delays within the system or send the application to a queue for verification or something like that?? the app is currently still on the "app received" status
