Thanks for the reply. That is correct. I had a surgery since then but im feeling better than ever and stopped all medications right now. But since this is a chronic disease and there's a possibility of it returning and me going back to biologics, i was trying to find more information on what private assistance insurance options are available here in Canada. I was lucky enough to have Provincial healthcare coverage here when the surgery happened as im a legal resident here on a work permit. But as far as im aware there were no private insurance providers that would provide coverage as a replacement for provincial healthcare here in BC. All of them would only provide coverage supplemental to it in BC. At least thats what i was able to find after talking to a few private insurance companies and looking over google. So im curious to know what private insurance/assistance was received in their case so i could also look into it and see how that works.Based on your previous posts you were laid off from a closed work permit over 6 months. Not sure how you have been paying for your treatment since then but one of the big factor the previous poster was probably approved was because of their history of private insurance payments.
