im the sponsor, my husband had the interview.
he was there for quit some time as they could not make out numbers on his divorce papers.
he really didn't get interviewed, the lady just commented that we had a big wedding and that she loved the colors we used.
the only question she asked was where does you spouse live?

So 9.5 months later with all the ups and downs application finally approved.

I checked gckey this morning it say background check complete.
Final decision Your application was approved. Check your messages below for detail.

When i checked below there was pre-arrival invitations added March 8. And counterfoil ans travel doc number listed for each expiring July 19, 2018.

Such exciting news my last day on the island we shall go celebrate with all my family cause I'm not coming back for a good 2yrs. Gonna take time out to go on family vacay explore other places.

As for the interview he had a Chinese lady, he said she was nice. When he went into interview both she was reviewing file on a computer for about 20min then she started asking questions.

He wasn't fortunate enough to have. O questions he said say asked a lot of question. How old the kids, where i work how much i make, have he met my parents what they do, who was at wedding have he met my kids how is relation with my kids. Where there father. Why neither one of us with our kids otge parents. Then why took so long for sponsoring (waited 3.5yrs to sponsor) she kept asking that question. She stated she was satify with all other answer but that 1 to which he then told her that he had a record n waited for it to be expunged.

Interview lasted about an hour. Despite all the ups and down, return application DNA testing the process took 9months which is amazing considering it use to take months before.

For all the newbies my advice dont stress the process i had a difficult application hence taking so long straight forward application go much faster.. lol

I haven’t received an email but Ecas updated that they started processing the application in Kingston on March 8. I’m hoping for an interview in June? Is this possible?

Noone can really advise you when you will get a date for an interview. Each case is all so different. I applied in June and our app started processing in Aug.
