Until March 2020. Not sure why yours is until 2019 and mine is until 2020. I've applied as a Japanese national. Maybe that's it?How long is your OWP valid for? Mine is til March 2019. I've read here that some got theirs valid for 2 years.

As to why it's valid until 2019, it follows the expiration of your passport. It's what I read in the forums.Until March 2020. Not sure why yours is until 2019 and mine is until 2020. I've applied as a Japanese national. Maybe that's it?
Which form are you filling in?Hey guys, I’m filling the CSQ forms and I’m confused about 2 options (English/french barriers ).
My girlfriend and I are doing the process as common law partners! Our lawyer (who’s is American and not french speaker) put on our forms that we are “Partenaire conjugale ou partenaire conjugal”, but we believe that the correct marital status would be “Conjoint de fait, conjointe de fait”. We have been googling the differences between those and it seems like a partenaire conjugale would be a couple that don’t actually live together which we do!
I just would like to double check with you guys since you all are so kind and have been helping us so much.
Would be very sad to have the forms returned so close to the end of our process.
Thanks in advance!
Common law in french is Conjoint de fait!Could somebody HELP PLEASE?
not anymore. gotta wait til they ask for it.Can I do my medical exam before CIC medical request?
I am sponsoring my spouse. We got our AOR of November 22nd on January 4th. We applied for Visitor permit extension on December 4th since it was expiring on January 10. We got her OWP file back due to insufficient fees on January 14th. We resubmitted with correct fees on Jan 22nd. Her visitor record extension got approved on Feb 16.You have to wait until you get your AIP .
I guess you are true ... your lawyer has to fill the form as common law partner ... and not conjugal partner !Hey guys, I’m filling the CSQ forms and I’m confused about 2 options (English/french barriers ).

You should reprint your forms with « conjoint de fait », the french canadian translation for « common law partner »I guess you are true ... your lawyer has to fill the form as common law partner ... and not conjugal partner !
I think there are no differences in US, but in Canada it’s not the same status reging the laws and imigration
No you don't have to wait for AIP. She's kept legal status throughout the application process so she will get her OWP within 4 monthsI am sponsoring my spouse. Do you think she would still have to wait till AIP to get work permit? Or she should get it in 4 months from OWP AOR (Jan 22) Or should i send out another application now that she has valid status in the country?
