Hey anyone applied around Jan 4, 2018, here?

I applied Jan 4, got AoR Feb 23 and SA March 5. So I know applications processed in Accra VO get medical request about 3 months after AoR. However, I just got medical request today, March 7, 2018, which is about 2 weeks after AoR. Is it possible IRCC is trying to speed things up at Accra? Or maybe I'm not going to be transferred to Accra?

What did the SA letter or Transfer letter say? It should be stated on the letter.

In His/HER email it states," got AoR Feb 23 and SA March 5.
@Elohim He also posted on the 2018 outland thread that his sponsor called cic and they told her that she was approved and should expect SA through the post............

The following is the post: "Oh no...my wife was informed by CIC call center that she was approved on the 5th of March and she'll get the letter in the mail later. Do you know what your visa office is (or is going to be)?"

The Visa office to be transferred to is dependent on PA's (Principal Applicant) location. If you are based in Nigeria, your VO is Accra.

Here's CIC link you can use to check your VO: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/international-visa-offices.html#n

Also, the Sponsor should get an email from Missi...ga that would indicate the VO the application is being transferred to.

Once you have been living in a country for a year or more, you are considered a resident of that country and the application will be processed in that country.
