Citizenship Applications after Bill C-6

Are you aware that there are some October applicants who just received AOR couple days ago and some are still waiting?
Yours was sent on December 22, 2017... think about it!

Call centre agents cannot confirm receipt of applications if nothing is entered on the system, which is exactly what AOR is about. Once your file is open and entered... you get AOR. I can understand that waiting in the dark is not nice... but sending a second app could in fact delay the process even further. Hold on!

Secondly, Few people on this forum mentioned that they sent out another application when they did not hear anything and they got AOR within a week on second application.

Waiting in dark is really killing.

Just want to update you. My application was submitted on 22 December 2017.
As I said in my previous thread that I contacted IRCC through Web Form and they replied back to me after two weeks that they are not able to track my application package and I need to send them further info including Mailing package tracking number. So I did immediately through another Web form inquiry.

I received reply today as per below.

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). We verified the information you provided and have forwarded it to the responsible office. They will contact you if further information is required or if a decision is made on your application. We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry."


Not sure whats going on ? Anyone has similar situation ? And if yes what steps you have taken ? Any suggestion ? Should I submit another application ?

I have sent my citizenship along with my brother and sister in one single envelope on 21st December with a registered email delivered on 27th December, till now I didn't receive the AOR. Called the IRCC and the officer said it is normal since we are still reviewing the December mail and you have to be patient one or two weeks until you get your AOR.

I had my test today 20/20 and my interview too , well let's wait for the next steps.

Do they start consequently right after each other ? Or there are gaps in between .. I mean when the RCMP finishes .. CISC starts right away ?
