Hi. Greetings to everyone. We just had our medical exam at St. Luke's Extendion Clinic last April. I was pregnant by that time so I am not advised for the MMR Vaccine which they said is required for all Canada Applicants. So what they advised me is to have my MMR Vaccine after giving birth. Now that I already gave birth and planning to have the MMR Vaccine, where will I bring the certification of that vaccine and where will I show it? Is it at the port of entry to Canada? Thanks

I'm pretty sure this isn't a requirement, but it is a good idea to have it. I would put $$ on it that you won't be asked for it but you may as well have it on hand when in land to give yourself peace of mind.

But why did they require all Canada applicants to have MMR Vaccine? And how did you know that it isn't required at all?

I never heard of it that MMR vaccination is a requirement for immigrants. Nobody ever asked me during my medical exam.
My spouse who was born in Canada and always lived here never had the MMR vaccination until 2 weeks ago. He only got it at the age of 42 because I told him so :D

I don't know of any required vaccinations here, only recommended ones.

I'm from US and it was never a requirement, my doctor requested it while I was pregnant to protect the baby but never the CIC, nor did I have to provide any type of immunization records, maybe other VO's are different but Ottawa doesn't last time I checked.

Hi.. is mmr vaccine a requirement for adult? Are they goin to ask in immigration for the certificate of vaccination? Thanks
