You need to call the call centre, they can confirm and tell you even date when they receivedHow do know that the citizenship office has received the fingerprint from RCMP?
Hi frontenacs, I am in the same situation and my timeline is very similar. I will also try to call them on Monday, but please post your update. I will do the same.I received RQ & fingerprint requests on DEC 19. I had my fingerprints taken with a third party agent on JAN 3. The agent told me to check with IRCC in two weeks. I will call the call center Monday JAN 15 to check if they have received it. If they haven't by then probably I will speed post a letter to my local processing center. Is that what you will do if CIC doesn't receive fingerprints before the due date?
Hi , there was a gap for one week.Did the come up together on your ECAS or there was a gap (hours or days) ?
Yes they are. I got FP and Test invite same day. One came from my local processing office, another came from Vancouver office. Did the test and got DM 48 hours after.I think the fingerprints and processing are separate!
A friend of mine got his fingerprint request on one day, and just by the following day even before he sends the fingerprints he got the test invitation.
So, I think all these steps, from fingerprints, testing, are all within the "processing" of the application.
The citizenship application is technically "under process" till the day of the Oath.
same here. FP done on Feb 13. RCMP said they sent next day. But IRCC agent said they have not received them yet.My wife was asked for fingerprints with a letter dated february 2 and she submitted them in Commissionaires Quebec on february 9. RCMP already confirmed that they verified and sent the results o CIC Montreal on same day.
She called call center today (february 27) and agent said he could not see if CIC received the results. She asked for a confirmation via webform of IRCC but still no answer. Not sure what to do.
Did you get your test invite? If yes, how long after FP did it take?I am in the same boat. Did my fingerprints on Dec 7, and no movement since. I guess patience is a virtue...

RCMP mails the results to IRCC, if you choose that option when you get your FP taken. St. Clair is one of two offices that handles the processing of FP requests. There will not be a change on ecas when they receive the results. When did you do your FP? Having the FP done didn't really seem to affect the timeline of my application at all.Hi all...i have two questions....first do the rcmp send the result by mail to ircc??or ircc have access on the results?and why do they say in the letter to send the results to the st clair office?i had the fingerprinting agencey courier the results to them but i cant call call center bcs i am out of the country and no status update on my ecas...will that change??i have not got test yet.
Application recived on november 15...AOR 9 jan... Fb 19 march...received by ircc on 17 april and till day 8th june...nothen yet....too much delay.RCMP mails the results to IRCC, if you choose that option when you get your FP taken.
