Hello,
I have been invited to Canada by my uncle (mother’s brother) to attend his son’s wedding in Mississauga. I’m 25 yo old who just graduated and don’t have a job yet. But it would really mean a lot to my cousin if i went there to attend his wedding.
There are few questions I would like to ask before i start my visa process.
I have a letter from my uncle stating the current status/annual income of his family. He owns real estate worth 2.5M CAD and all of his children are employed and earning well.
In the letter he has mentioned the annual income of all this family, provided the bank statements, the booking of the wedding event and everything.
He has also undertaken the responsibility of my finances, food, accommodation and other living expenses.
Now I’m unemployed and totally depend on my parents and my brother who is currently in Finland and has a very decent job and he can finance my whole trip to Canada including tickets and everything.
Do i need to have money in my own account or will my brother’s bank statement and affidavit work?
Regarding the close ties to my country, i have some property under my name, a father who is almost 69 years old , a mother who is 55 and a younger brother who is 17. I definitely can’t leave my parents alone for long and I intend to come back to my country as soon th event is over and I’ll be staying there for maximum 20 days.
I’ve travelled to Dubai and KSA but i guess that doesn’t make a big difference.
Can you please tell me that how should i put up a strong case to convince the consulate to issue me a visa? Thank you very much.
