WES evaluation in progress

I am very skeptical about wes process because my university officials in India are not very cooperative and it was real hard work to get attested marksheets. Does wes do verification with the university ? I dont think they will respond to any query from wes.


My WES status says "evaluation in progress" last i checked it was documents received, review in progress.

Does it mean my evaluation will now be processed for sure ?
Or they can still hold it for verification?

This means your evaluation has started as they found the documents to be fine. If verification is needed, then they will contact your university.

Yes it is a pain as not all universities are so cooperative. You really need to hope your uni or college does their part. Call them to explain if they are not used to doing this

Hi... I had a lot of history with WES. I did Masters from India. It's a 3 year degree course. Like all other colleagues of mine (who successfully got their ECA done from WES) I submitted only my Master's transcripts and certificate. WES reviewed my documents and changed the status to "Waiting for required documents" and asked for Bachelors transcripts as well. It took me almost 2 months to get the transcripts from Calcutta University (India). Now when I sent my transcripts, again from "Documents received-Review in progress" it changed to "waiting for required documents" and this time the message is "Paper titles or course description not there in transcripts". As per FAQ in WES site paper titles are required for course-by-course evaluation only. But for ECA package its document-by-document but still WES asked for it. My Bachelors transcripts do not have course description. It has like Paper 1, Paper 2 etc. Then I found that the paper descriptions are there at the back of my marksheet but not for all the papers. I sent WES whatever I got from marksheet. So today I found from "Waiting for documents" status it changed to "Evaluation in progress" (in the main home screen). But when I click on the Reference no and then to My documents it showing the status as "evaluation in progress" but below its mentioned document received - review in progress. I am little confused with this. Can anybody tell me what is the actual status of my application then? Is it possible that it goes back to "Waiting for documents" again and they can ask for some other documents from me. I am really confused with the process. Kindly help.

If the status is Evaluation in progress, it certainly will chenge to Evaluation completed, as WES is now satisfied in terms of required documents. They barely go for checking with universities, unless under extreme conditions - I say so from my own experience, my evaluation was completed in merely 3 days from Documents received, so no way they must have touch based with the institution in india.

For general understanding, this is what i understood about WES :

• Order Booking
• Documents received by WES (usually this is "Z Maple" who signs the PoD) - Milestone 1
• Documents received - review in progress - Milestone 1 + 3 (working days) these 3 days are taken to update the documents in system as received - Milestone 2
• Evaluation in progress - Milestone 2 + 3 to 5 days - Milestone 3
• Evaluation Completed - Milestone 3 + 5 to 15 days

WES sent me the hard copy by end of April already but it seem to be lost on the way...
DO I need to scan the hard copy for the APR? if this's the case, then I have to order the duplicate copy from WES right? It costs another 30CAD...

I had got my evaluation completed two - three days after I published this post.
My spouse's wes was also completed few days after evaluation in progress, looks like this is the standard procedure and your evaluation should complete anytime from now.

hi my WES status is on hold form 22-nov-2017 for the transcripts form the university. I have sent the same and its been delivered there on 18-dec-2017. still the status is on hold. when i checked the "track package" option in WES website, its saying "we have received your documents, please wait for 24-48 hours. can you guys please tell me what to do?

What does this mean.
This is since 7th feb

This means your initial evaluation is completed and they are reviewing it as the final step. You will receive your PDF result on or before 28th Feb 2018.
