For Indian PCC from USA do the address proof document need to have the current address

Hi

I am planning to apply for the Indian PCC for the Express entry from the SFO consulate . But as for the current address proof document I only have my DL but the address on that is not my current address however , it is a California address. So my question is does it matter ? will my PCC be mailed to the address on my DL?
Please advice!!

I believe it need to be your current address proof. Dont you have any utility bill in your name for the current address? It would suffice.

You can call them directly on the phone number listed online. CGI NY was very helpful in my case and were available for any questions.

I don't have any utility bill on my name as I am on F1 here and have to change my address constantly as I did not want to be on any lease because of my status.
I tried calling them but most of the options are for passport and other inquiries.

Just pick any option and talk to an actual human being. If he/she cant answer your question tell them to transfer your call to the person who can.

Thanks for the reply. I called the Consulate and they said it can be done by getting a notarized letter from my bf who owns the lease stating that I am staying with him along with a copy of the photocopy of the lease.
