Sometimes the test happens before all security checks have been finalized. So yes it can take longer at some offices.hi all,
i took the test on august @ scarborough office no DM till today?anyone with same situation?
Which office? Some offices have less ceremonies than others and it can take longer. In your case I would probably phone as six months seems rather long.i took the test in early Apr, DM in July, and no oath invite yet as of mid Dec...Still waiting...
It can take a couple of months. I got my invite for oath 6 weeks after dm, but we were told in Vancouver it can take 3 monthsI'm wondering how long expected time between decision made and the ceremony
Based on previous comments here from another forum, some received their Oath thru email and others thru mail. So I assume that if they started contacting you by email, you'll receive updates on email as well.Is there a point to keep checking on the CIC website for an update after it says decision made (like it does for the other steps) or just wait to receive something in the mail ?
