Sorry for the long post, but I need some suggestion about the following:
We both (me & my wife) are done with WES and Language test. I'm waiting for PCC and my wife is working in Sweden (on a work permit). She will be the main applicant. We are getting confused about 2 things:
1. She completed her coursework for Masters from Sweden in September 2015 and started working full-time from then (it is allowed to work full time in Sweden with a student permit). She received her work permit in November 2015, continued working and submitted her thesis in December 2016 (so WES is showing her masters year as 2016). So overall, she worked full time on the student visa for the first two months, then received her work permit and continued working and submitted thesis a year later. Will there be any problem with CIC as she started working full time with a student permit in Sweden (as working full time with a student permit is not allowed in Canada as per I know)?
2. Her work permit expired after 2 years in November 2017 and she applied for an extension before the expiration date. The application is under process now and she is allowed to work when the process is ongoing (according to the Swedish Law, stated on their website and followed by Swedish companies). But if CIC wants to see the copy of the work permit, the one she has right now has expired in November 2017. It might take another 2-3 month to receive the approval of her extension. Currently, we only have the copy of the application for the extension.
In this situation, should we go forward and submit the Express Entry application (and believe that CIC will be reasonable enough to check back how the Swedish Immigration Process works) or should wait for the extension to get approved? Our total score will be 440 as per our calculation, So there is a good chance that we will get picked in the upcoming draws, but we're worried that if we can not provide the work permit with the specific date then the application might get canceled.
Any suggestion is welcome about the above two problems.
@legalfalcon , someone in the forum suggested that you can help. Thanks iin advance.
