Thank you Abhishek for your outlook. Hope you get through your PPR process soon.Based on the current trend of 3000 ITAs with 2-week gap draws, it is almost impossible to get ITA with CRS 435 before end of March. With few 1-week gap draws, it is possible though.
+ 601-1200 233Does anyone have pool distribution of express entry candidates as of Jan 3rd? That is just before Jan 10th draw?
It says they have commenced issuing NOIs "Please be advised that the OINP has commenced issuing NOIs under the HCP stream. "
I would also like some information on the part where he wishes to mention that spouse will not accompany on his express entry, and then calling her on visitor visa while sponsorship PR is applied for?hello everyone,
in case i get ITA without accompanying my spouse, can i get visitor visa for her till she gets PR?
that also means i have to mention in my application that spouse will not accompany, but i intend to call her as soon as i get a job.
is that fair cause and acceptable by CIC?
btw, we are sitting at 439 in combined application, if i apply solo my score is 456.
I called IRCC and they said that as long as the police certificate is less than 6 months old at the time we submit our application, we are good to go! Thanks everybody for their input.Interesting... because of https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/about.html:
If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
I thought that the PCC would be valid as long as we submit our e-APR before 6 months pass since they issue the PCC... So I guess we have to wait until she's back in Canada, and apply for a PCC via a representative? (that's how her country works). Hope it doesn't take too long because she is coming back 15 days before our deadline for submission :/

If you are PR your wife can't apply for visitor visa, because the ground for visitor visa is that you need to prove that you will go back. My friend is in the same situation (he fail multiple visitor visa attempts because of the stated reason) and the only way for him to meet his wife is sponsorship application which will take one year. In addition, sponsorship applicants will need to go through a very harsh interview.I would also like some information on the part where he wishes to mention that spouse will not accompany on his express entry, and then calling her on visitor visa while sponsorship PR is applied for?

That was an interesting eye opener! I would like to know more about the harsh interview, if you could elaborate? If you are PR your wife can't apply for visitor visa, because the ground for visitor visa is that you need to prove that you will go back. My friend is in the same situation (he fail multiple visitor visa attempts because of the stated reason) and the only way for him to meet his wife is sponsorship application which will take one year. Hi, could you explain what do you mean by harsh? In addition, sponsorship applicants will need to go through a very harsh interview.
I would beg to differ. The website says "Please be advised that the OINP has commenced issuing NOIs under the HCP stream. " as well as "The OINP will be issuing NOIs on a regular basis to applicants, who at minimum, have a CRS of 400 and meet all eligibility criteria.".
