    I concur. The plan was always to mobilise after a couple of years, but COVID has made things uncertain. I am waiting for direct flights at the very least.. Hoping that it will by September. What I gather is banking on lenient RO regime is not a great idea and fraught with risks..

    Thanks for the update. Good to hear! mine was submitted on 23 July - Just noticed that my GC Key has been updated stating the application approval and counterfoil details. How many days after this for them to send the passport to VFS - hope to receive it this week.

    Submitted on 23 July - no news - sick of these guys. Having a tough time at work as have to travel. I mailed them to give some visibility - they just say processing time is 30 days. If required can collect the passport and submit again and the 30 day cycle will begin again.

    from what little I gathered from reading online, Alberta has a hub for EPC companies mostly in the Oil and Gas/mining sector. I am also looking to move here but contingent upon job prospects
