Citizenship application in August 2017

Guys!

My friend is doing FP. The letter says that he would mail the results to the specific IRCC local office but in the place where he's doing the FP they say that usually RCMP sends those results directly to IRCC local office, they are also giving him the option that RCMP sends the results to him by mail.

How do you guys usually do it?

you can ask the agency to send the FP results to his address ,, what i did was i asked this agency to have the RCMP sending the results to my address than i take a photo copy as well as i scaned and i sent it by registered mail also by WEB form .

Finally 4th line came to appear for test on Feb 24th

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on September 26, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on September 28, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on February 7, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 24, 2018 at 7:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
   *Note: Citizenship and Immigration Canada does sometimes schedule events on Saturdays or Sundays.

I did not receive any email though yet? I called CIC today and they told me that they have sent me an email on feb 7th

[Got sick of waiting]

Hi all, Fished the journey yesterday in Hamilton. Took the oath with all family members yesterday @ 9.10 am in Hamilton. It was straight forward. Checking two IDs, the oath and some photo taking. Wish best of luck for those waiting to accomplish this journey.
It took 6 months while I got my PR in March' 2013.
Here is the time line:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 8, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on September 18, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on September 26, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on November 15, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 6, 2017 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. We sent you a notice on January 11, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on February 6, 2018 at 9:10 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
6. You became a Canadian citizen on February 6, 2018.

and My application is still in process since 12 Sept 2017.
not sure, if anybody else from Aug 2017, is still waiting for test or update

finally guys my file went to (Decision Made ) today 02/09/2018 ,, no line was added in the case details but under the
Citizenship Application Status ,, it went to Decision Made ,, my test was on 02/07/2018 ,, officer told me that everything look good ,, that mean now I am waiting the Oath invite right ????
