Applying for USA visit visa while waiting for pr card

Me and my wife would like to apply for US visiting visa while we wait for our pr card.can we actually do that? Landed on 7feb 2018. Is copr letter sufficent to prove our current status in canada?

yes COPR is good enough... showed and got VISA for family recently..

I'm also planning to apply for UK visit visa when I travel to Canada next month and would like to know how one would show bank statements as I'll be in the country only few days?

chances are less with WP than PR.. mine got rejected while in WP. but you can always give a try..

Do you mind if you tell me what was reason for your first rejection?
And where in Canada did you applied, which consulate?

it was in Toronto US consulate, ofcourse they dont tell exact reason for rejection , but mostly is due to temporary resident status..

Could you tell please did you got refused for Usa visa during your PR process ?
I am just curious if I get refused now will that have an impact on my PR application that is in process already?

i got refused before i applied for PR. Apply after getting PR approved atleast with COPR.. PR process is not an issue, your US visa chances are better after PR approval..

My situation is the same. I am yet to receive my PR card. So according to you it is safe to apply for a us tourist vis with just the copr. Also, my husband is not
working yet. Can he get the visa with me?
