December 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

I have a question, i send my application through canada post registered mail on 18 Dec 2017. I tracked my mail and it was saying "Delivered" on 21st of Dec 2017. As i observed in this forum, everyone is saying that his/her application received by someone (e.g Ryan LL) but mine just saying Delivered. Does someone else has the same experience?

Did you have "Signature Required" - name will only show if you bought this option I believe

However, there is something that I'm concerned about.
My 'current mailing address' according to ECAS, shows my previous mailing address, the one from back when I got my PR. Is this something that I should be changing on my own, or will the officers change this as they process my forms.
Also, ECAS claims that they have sent the AOR and a study book (Discover Canada) on Feb. 1st. Do you think they sent them to my 'current mailing address,' or my ACTUAL address that is NOT OUTDATED by 6 years smh.

Other applicants have seen the same thing. All you have to do is just email them through the web forms and they should fix it for you.

Other applicants have seen the same thing. All you have to do is just email them through the web forms and they should fix it for you.

No need to use the webform. You can update your mailing address on ECAS itself. Typically, it takes 48-72 hours to process the request.

A lot of people, including me, had this issue. We all updated it on ECAS and it worked. Alternatively, it will automatically get updated when your file starts processing.

Also note that, if your home address is the same as your mailing address, after the update, your mailing address will disappear from ECAS.

If you got your AOR by email, you won't be receiving a physical copy of Discover Canada by regular mail. There should be a link to download the pdf/audio versions in your email attachment as well as on ECAS. You can choose to order a physical copy using the same link as well.

My citizenahip application was received on 27th Dec.2017, still waiting on my AOR. My PR card expires june this year and we r planning our vacation in July. Should we renew our PR.

You will be a citizen by April/May - it takes 20 days at most to get a Canadian Passport
