Will my NOC be accepted based on my reference letter?

Hi, I'm a little worried that my reference letter is not as strong as the NOC's description. My employer wasn't happy when I left, and wouldn't let my boss write the reference. Instead, someone in HR did, and they downplayed my duties a bit. Can anyone tell me how strict IRCC are in this category, and if you think they will accept the NOC based on my reference letter? Below is the NOC description:

Main duties
Legal administrative assistants perform some or all of the following duties:
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, such as deeds, wills, affidavits and briefs, from handwritten copy, shorthand and machine dictation using computers
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Schedule appointments, meetings and conferences for employer
  • Set up and maintain filing systems, utilizing knowledge of legal records and procedures and frequently controlling confidential materials and documents
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments or organizations
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • May supervise and train other staff in procedures and in the use of current software
  • May attend court, meetings or conferences to take notes, minutes and dictation
  • May perform other general office work as required including preparing financial statements.
Employment requirements
  • Completion of secondary school is usually required.
  • Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for secretaries or legal secretaries is usually required.
Below is the section of my reference letter that lists the duties. I don't have a formal education in legal, but majored in Public Relations, and worked for the legal department of this company for a year before getting the legal assistant job.

Legal Assistant
  • Managed client relations
  • Performed routine clerical, administrative and general office duties for the Paralegal Department
  • Composed routine letters and memos from general instruction and dictation
  • Set up and typed reports following standard formats that required little judgement
  • Prepared court forms and documents for Court Attendances
  • Opened and closed files, entering dockets, preparing accounts, etc.

They're indeed very strict on the reference letters- I'd suggest you to please 'request' your HR to slightly refine this. The 1st bullet point is too short !

I won't be able to get another reference letter from the company. Do you think if I got a reference letter from my old boss, who no longer works there, they'd consider it?
