so see like I asked you before if it was Not Applicable or not. Anyway they are currently dealing with April applicants so yours will probably take a while since you are a November applicant?

@Sangam is wondering because we have never come across such status update so it would be helpful if you could copy paste for all of us so we have a reference! As that is not a common status update for BCG whose Visa Office is New Delhi! It is not about believing or not believing- it is about helping each other; so that is why she asked you to copy paste it here, for our reference!

turns out it is indeed Not Applicable, as I asked in my very first question... yeah I am not gonna bother anymore.

umm.. that is usually not the status of background check on gc key
it will usually be one of these three things:
1. "your application is in progress..."
2. Not Applicable
3. "we are processing your background check..."
The eligibility is usually worded as "we are reviewing your eligibility..."- if your representative has access to your GC key, ask him what the status of your background check is!

So whats the difference between your application is in progress and we are processing your background check for the BGC?

the first one is your application is in progress- that means your criminality checks probably havent been started or some sort of check hasn't been done prior to sending it off to your VO --> this status usually changes to Not Applicable before going to NDVO (this usually indicates that the criminality and completeness part of your application has been completed) ; "we are processing your BGC" is the last update in BGC before it is complete, and this indicates that your application is very close to final decision (especially with NDVO)
You can look at it like being sequential.
