Exactly....kinda upset right now, and have been in contact with my MP, who is following up to get an answer. In that case it is very weird that they would have you redo it twice

Do you mean extendable? That is up to the discretion of the visa officer. Sometimes they extend and sometimes they ask for another. Although, I agree this should not be an issue for you since it does not expire for another 6mContacted my MP, and they are on it....was also informed that since I live in Canada currently, that even if my current medical expired (which it hasn't and doesn't do so until June) that medicals for applicants living in Canada medicals are expandable....!? This entire mess is going to kill me before we can even reap the rewards of life here together!
extendable yes....sorry...I quite upset right now....Do you mean extendable? That is up to the discretion of the visa officer. Sometimes they extend and sometimes they ask for another. Although, I agree this should not be an issue for you since it does not expire for another 6m
Don't be. Possible they just made a mistake. They do that a lot wait until you get more information and only worry if you have to.extendable yes....sorry...I quite upset right now....
It took us almost a year to be able to link our application, and we were able to do so by following these steps.I'm sponsoring my wife and we got the AOR last week, I’ve been trying to link my application with no luck. I think I tried every possible combination mentioned here. so I gave up.
my question is, what happens after not linking my application and how does that affect the process?
I think @kcward7 did?Hi guys, quick question:
Has anyone on here from a visa exempt Country, who has recently been processed by CPC-M, gone straight from DM to COPR and skipped the PPR stage (I'm assuming this would only happen if you were inside the 6 month point for the PR photo requirements!)?
Just curious of the different experiences.
We weren't processed at CPC M, it was at LVO. No PPR and was not within 6 months of getting the photos done. Straight to DM and COPRI think @kcward7 did?
My app was processed in less than 6 months, but I still got PPR. Based on what we have seen here on the forum, every single person processed at CPC-M receives PPR, even if their VO does not typically send PPRs (i.e. London VO has not been sending PPRs to visa-exempt applicants but if you are processed at CPC-M and would have been processed at London had you not been kept in Mississauga, you get a PPR and have to send your photos and docs to London). I believe this is because Mississauga does not issue COPRs, so there is no way for them to skip right to that step.Hi guys, quick question:

Congratulations! I'm sure it will come soon.ECAS changed to DM when I logged in just after lunchtime UK today. No other changes in GC Key, lines added in ECAS or emails received yet.
Thanks. I'm sure it will and I am just surprised and thankful that DM has come so quickly given the experiences of some others in here. Hopefully everyone else will get to this stage promptly too.Congratulations! I'm sure it will come soon.
