I got an email from IRCC for telephonic landing after getting COPR

Hey all,

My schedule is as follows:

Phone interview on December 15
Letter returned and arrived in Montreal on December 19

Still no update, I haven't received the CoPR back signed and no PR card. Tried linking the PR card to my account, but no luck. Anybody got anything similar to this?

Try to call CiC/reply to the original email from MTL (preferred - that's with your UCI on the subject line).. maybe, something wrong with the photo you've provided. It's been a month now and you still cannot link your PR card application on your online account.

You won't receive any email update or online update since you did Telephone landing (perhaps). This happened to a friend, CiC will just tell you that it should be MTL that need to give you update on what's going on or give you instruction(s) on the next action step(s). But you can still call CiC and ask them for update because they can read internal notes associated to your application (from their end). Hope it helps.

It's actually not a bounced back email, rather just an auto - reply email whenever they receive something. If it's a bounced back email, it will be an NDR (Non- Delivery Report - where saying that the email address is not valid). You'll probably receive a response in more than 10days (hopefully).

Yeah, your luck probably would be to call CiC, better to try at exactly 8AM EST, you'll be on queue for sure.

So they said there's no memo in my account to say MTL ever received my return CoPR and photos. I've provided them with the mail tracking number, which says it was received on December 19.

I asked them next steps, and they said they didn't know. I guess I'm either waiting for a call/email, or calling them back next week.

The frustrating part is if it wasn't for the pilot, I'd have a signed CoPR in hand. I'm not sure whether they can reissue the unsigned version?

No i have it with myself. since no body called me for interview i was not asked to send it back
but my copr is not usable since the agent asked me to sign when i went for border landing but could not land. basically i will need a new copy as well
why would anybody reject your application for no fault of yours?

Then call agent as that’s how my ppr came I called the agent she was really welcoming and nice , went over the issue with program specialist . She shooted message Ottawa cpc then I got ppr around 5:30 pm .

i just called and they said it has to be further taken up by ottawa cpc. But ottawa cpc has not taken my case up for processing yet and agent i talked to was not ready to send message to ottawa or escalate. i will keep calling and hope to get more helpful agent. thanks for the info

Finally, I got my PR card on Friday last week Jan 19 (It took 1 month to reach the PR card)
I think you guy will get it soon

my case:
I'm in Toronto.
Did interview Dec 18,
Receive CoPR the first time on Dec 20, signed and sent back on the same day.
IRCC received it Dec 21.
CIC Account got approve from the beginning of Jan.
Got CoPR back on Jan 09, 2018, take around 20 days due to the holiday break.

I have sent my Copr and photos which shows they recieved them on dec 15 .but they still havent send them back ..called CIC office today and they said there is no update of recieving from montreal office ...still the agent said he will email the montreal office about the query and concern ...

I received it today (24 Jan).

I am from GTA.

I called IRCC thrice in two weeks and only in the last (on 18th Jan) call did the lady officer confirmed to me the right status of my application and the details of my CoPR mailing date.

Today my online account also shows the status as approved!

I am still not able to link my PR card application in my online account. (Tried all the options). But the lady officer said they have applied already and I would receive in 30-60 days.

All the best for the people in waiting and congrats to all those who already got it.

Hey All:
Just an update here.
Telephone interview: 15 Dec (Didnt receive CoPR till after the interview day)
Received CoPR : 19th Dec (Signed and sent back next day on 20th to MTL )
MTL received it on : 22 Dec
MTL sent me an email that my photos were not good: Jan 15
I sent back new photos within 2 days.
Today: MyCIC decision is approved. Still no final COPR recieved. It must be on the way.
Do you know how long it is taking to get PR Cards? I cannot link my application on mycic yet.

Hi,

I got email for telephonic landing on Dec 6th
Interview was on Dec 13 (CoPR recived on Dec 12)
Send back to MTL office Dec 13
Revived MTL office on Dec 15
.....long wait.

called ...emailed on use used the finally on Jan 15 came to knows that
CoPR signed on Jan 9th. PR card linked to online account.

CoPR received back on Jan 18

Jan 23 status of online account changed to approved.


Went to For SIN they said too many corrections on CoPR not possible to issue SIN have to wait for PR card !
