Guys, if your application has been returned as incomplete. Do you just send the application back with a missing form? or do you need to pay the fees again? and to calculate all your days all over again,a nd make a new application?

I just sent mine back after it was returned for a missed checkbox.
The application had a timestamp already in the front when it was originally received so I'm not sure if that was crucial.

@aman_474
@oatmeal123
@amre2005

Can you please share your timeline for the returned application? It will December applicant some idea whether their application will be coming back or not, i know it will not be a confirmation but will indicate something for others? We have @amre2005 entry in the Dec sheet.

Have you sent your applications back? If so please share with us so we can add you to the sheets. Good luck and stay positive. The same thing happened to me as well and I am also waiting for my AOR.

I thought if the application was sent back we should join the month thread we re-send the application?

AOR is all e-mail (assuming you provided an e-mail address), correct?

Whats the numeber of question , i missing the checkbox for the question 13 but i put the information in table.

I have a question: how long does it normally take from AOR to in process? Is it email notification or will it just change in ecas without notifying the applicant?

Change of status to In Process is not notified via email. You have to check ecas to know it. From AOR to In process can take anywhere between 40 to 50 days.. again it depends on case by case basis as processing time differs with your visa office.

Photos absolutely have to be stamped. I have yet to see a case where photos were not stamped, and application was accepted.

No they don't as a lot of members had nothing on them.

And as mentioned - who stamps them if one does their photos themselves?

This answer is absolutely incorrect.

dude, you make me laugh! people have been missing you a lot in the forum.
there has been lot of instance the application has returned if the photos are not date stamped(on the back).

& @razerblade is right...

I don't know where you're getting 40 to 50 days - most are getting it in 24-48 hours after AOR

sorry i must be over thinking. i am a september applicant and it took me close to a month after AOR to get to In Process. My family applied in December and we are still waiting for AOR. If it is 24-48 hours now, that would be great.

depending on location - AOR to IP is usually 4-6 weeks. It could be slightly longer now due to surge in Oct applicants. In 24-28 hours after AOR - applicants usually get access to ECAS(only). Best bet is to look in the excel to figure out what is the avg for your location.

My wife received AOR today!
