Any NDVO thread specifically for 2018 Applicants???

July 2017 applicant received a communication from NDVO stating that their processing will start after two months.
So January 2018 applicants are way far from any query or updates. I believe they will not have any update until August or September.
However I pray that NDVO picks up the pace and resolve cases ASAP.

Hi, If you are submitting the passport at Ottawa office, you will be issued a single entry "Immigrant" visa pasted in your passport and COPR letter not signed. So, When you go out of the country and come back after your Vacation, you will do the landing at any of the airport. That's when your PR is confirmed. That's the date you become PR. And then you will wait for the PR card to arrive in the mail. So, in short, your wife can come with you to Canada.

Thanks for your insights and information! But now I'm hearing from some people that when you send the passport to the ottawa office they only issue the one time immigrant visa for flagpole, meaning you can only cross the border with it and come back to complete the landing and that will not be valid at the airport. Is that true?

Why you are doing so .. You will get email notification when their is any change in your GCKey status. Like "Someone just updated your file"
