I am got my PR stamped and I am moving to Canada soon. Which insurance should I get from UAE as I will have no insurance in Canada for three months?
You can search them online, there are many options. My preference has always ben blue cross. This is what I took, and also used them when I was in the US.

Hello,
We are expecting our child in next 4 months, do we have to show POF for the unborn child as well?
No, update CIC through the webform or contact your VO if your child is already born. By then, you need to update your POF too.

Based on this your eligibility is passed and Security is ongoing.
Is there any time limit for the Security to be completed in? Can anything be done to expedite the process? The only reply We get when we write to them is; "Your application is in process. We cannot specify a time limit."

thank you.. so that means if PPR is issued before the baby is born then no need to show POF for the Child?
Yep. But if the baby is born before landing, you still need to update your newborn.

Next to zero, unless there are some serious concerns such as prior involvement in genocide, war crimes, terrorism etc.
Thank you. I am so relieved. I am 100% sure none of us is a threat to Canada’s security :)

There is no time limit and nothing can be done to expedite it. In most cases security is down within 6 months after it starts.

Urgently seeking advise/help

After receiving ppr email on 28th Dec i decided to inform CIC of wife's pregnancy so I raised a CSE and submitted passports at the same time, but I haven't heard from them yet. Its been 2 weeks. I have got the Passports stamped and COPR last week so i need to plan landing now, which has become a headache.

Expected Delivery June (first week)
Visa Valid Till 14th July

If we travel within next 2-3 weeks we will hopefully be covered with OIHP before the due date. But due to business obligations and her health condition, as suggested by gynecologist, we may not be able to travel.bIt will be a risky option to travel if we really have to.

So, Can we deliver in India and then intimate CIC? (Our visa would still be valid a month after the delivery). They may ask us to surrender the copr and wait for newborn documents, or probably new medicals from us too. Is this a viable option?? Shall i call CIC and check, as they haven't replied to the CSE raised earlier?

Please advise.

If its at NDVO, then most likely your eligibility is passed and security is undergoing. Just give it some time and you should have the PPR.
That sounds like music to my ears. Thanks for your kind words and all help.

Not an issue. The questions you see at the end of the GCMS. notes are standard and all application have it multiple times.
Appreciate your support. Now the situation is that yesterday my consultant has raised CSE and sent the documents related to previous withdrawn case and mentioned that it was missed initially. Would it have any negative effect?

Thanks

This confusion and review required may have taken some time. If you have passed eligibility, then its just a matter of time before your receive your PPR.
Some security checks do take longer, which does not mean there is anything wrong with your file.
But the confusion was cleared by VO in July as per his comments after which I moved into IP2 on 2nd Aug. How to know when was Security started? I've passed Eligibility, Criminality, Medicals and Info sharing complete. My medicals expire in Mid April. Does security take that longer even if one isn't in SS? Am I not into Security Screening?
