Hello Guys,

I am the silent reader to this forum & would like to thank everyone here for their continuous support.
I applied inland spousal app for my wife:
App received: February 14, 2017
AOR : March 03, 2017
PCC request: March 27, 2017
Medical Request: june 14, 2017
& today I can see DM on both sides on ecas.
I didn’t receive any email yet but should be coming soon; I am from surrey so landing office should be Vancouver.

Hey, The last email I received was in June regarding medical request & changed to DM this morning but it added another line in sponsored section that processing of application started as January 19,2018.
NO SA OR NO AIP but DM on both sides.
I hope it’s a positive outcome since they didn’t ask for any interview or additional docs and didn’t send any procedure fairness letter either.

Will update u guys when I hear from them.

Today I got my app package returned in mail due to incomplete forms. I just missed to put complete address on IMM 5406 Additional Family information Form. I forgot to put Country (Canada) in the line of present address for principal applicant. So now I have to resubmit everything only because of that.

Hello. I have a question regarding the police certificates.

I got the request in December and submitted it in January. I had a message saying "not submitted to ircc" today I still had that message and realised they were waiting for my signature. I did so, but today is the deadline for those documents and the message now say "replacement submitted" does that mean they received it? I hope I don't have problems since today is the deadline and also a Sunday.. thanks for the feedback!

No it won't. Worst case scenario is that it'll delay your app. Mine was delayed from March 11 2017 until May 12, because I didn't get the correspondence.

Hello,

I need an advice. My application has been returned. I just have to redo it IMM 5406. I sent it on November 29, 2017. During that time my common law partner was on visitor status which expired on December 15th, 2017. In the same time together with sponsorship application we submitted work permit application, and also extension of visitor status in Vergeville. Now that it has been returned after 2 months of waiting because of mistake on IMM 5406, should I just redo it IMM 5406 and resubmit with rest of the forms and maybe write short explanation letter of how my application was sent on November 2017 and has been returned on January 2018 or I have to fill out everything once again? Thank you!

So I was FINALLY able to link my OWP app to my GCkey after countless failed attempts day after day. When it said registration successful I didn't even notice until I saw I had an email from CIC notifying me that my account was linked -- I was completely expecting to see the same "unsuccessful" alert..!!

I noticed that it says they received my OWP app on 11-22-2017 (delivered by Can Post 11-05-17) and it just so happens to be the 22nd today also, not sure if that's coincidence or if I could only link after 2 months exactly? Either way I'm so relieved. Hoping the next correspondence we get is notification of an approved OWP!!

I would double check everything again, it is not uncommon for applications to be returned multiple times. they don't go through the application and point out all your mistakes. as soon as they find a mistake they stop working on it and send it back
