Timeline of ECA from IQAS.

My timeline is as follows ( requesting an ECA from IQAS in the hopes that they are better at recognizing international qualifications than some of their competitors )

----updated timeline, so far, so good, in terms of Iqas sticking to their stated timelines

IQAS application reached IQAS: 21st November
University transcript reached IQAS: October ( approximately, not tracked )/November for second document
1st IQAS acknowledgement email: Received 2nd January ( pretty much 4 weeks to the day, taking into account the holiday break )
2nd IQAS acknowledgement email: No Update
ECA email from IQAS: No Update
Hardcopy Of ECA: No Update

Hi everyone,

I have done an MBA from International Telematic University - Italy (distance learning).

I have forwarded my documents for eca to iqas and in application form in last country of education I have mentioned Italy as degree is issued from Italy. However I have done it online from my home country which is not italy.

Is it okay to mention Italy in last country of education as degree is issued from there?

IQAS is taking too much time.

My wife sent her documents in September.

Received one ACK email for both application and academic documents on 23rd Nov.

We are still waiting for ECA.

I guess they take about 8 weeks after 2nd Acknowledgment for the ECA. Hopefully you'll be getting yours at the end of this month.

Not me but my second AOR came on 18th Dec. So I doubt i will get anything before feb.

ECA email from IQAS: No Update
Hardcopy Of ECA: No Update

So far, I am experiencing much better communication from Iqas than from other providers and to be honest similar processing times ( my other assessment with the other organization was an absolute debacle from start to finish )

Wes, I won't go into the full detail of just how bad they were on this thread ( which has led to me needing to try for a second ECA ). But suffice to say, even with the timescales seeming longer from the outside IQAS have so far been much better at all aspects of communication.

Only have final marks sheet / transcript of the Maters and the degree has not been issued till date and it might take another year or so. Can i go along for ECA on the basis of the Transcript only.
