Guys, don't lose hope. Ottawa is working, there were three DMs yesterday according to the spreadsheet! I know it has been too long for some of you but we've seen some movement with long-term applicants too!
Also, my passport copy has been approved (I sent it Jan 3rd), I'm just waiting for the COPR to arrive in the mail.

Very hard to keep faith on Canada Immigration...such a long wait they don't understand how much we suffer...I applied inland and my wp expired and come back to my home country and now we know we need to go back to Canada once we get the PR but not sure when...it is not only impacting me but entire family like my wife's job, son's school etc

can you tell how you were informed about your passport approval and COPR?

I'd say check once in the morning in case a midnight decision has been made, then again late afternoon because it seems that they need to have lunch before they can make a decision

I saw today in MyCIC account that the application was updated, and the last line says Your application was approved. Usually the passport/COPR return tracker activates the same day or at latest a couple of days after that status change. I did not get an e-mail notification about the approval.

APP Received: OCT 14 2016
AOR : FEB 02 2017
Medicals : Oct 30 2017
DM :Jan 16 2018
PPR :Jan 16 2018
