Hi. Need help po ulit.

For EE profile. Sa given name po ba, need po ba isama ang middle name?

TIA
If there is no separate "middle name" blank field, yes I included mine sa first/given name :)
As long as you have legal docs to consistently prove your name (passport, birth cert.), you should be fine.

Sirs,

I need your advice. We already have our ECA reports from WES, however, the results shows "Completion of secondary school education and Community College Diploma (2 years)."

Now, upon searching for options to increase our CRS points, i found out that IQAS comparison to a 4 Years Bachelor's Degree is "Generally compares to the completion of a three-year Bachelor’s degree." (https://www.alberta.ca/iqas-education-guide-philippines.aspx)

Based on the statements in this forum, there are those who received IQAS ECA reports with 4-Year Bachelor's Degree equivalent to 3-Year Bachelor's Degree.

Should I go for it?
Hmm if you have money to spare, why not. Although personally I think same result lang makukuha since standard ang evaluation (dapat). By actual curriculum and relevant units ang assessment, not just the number of years in study.

What I actually did was ask my school's registrar/records office kung saan sila may experience na para likely kilala na ng organization yung school ko and hopefully may previous references na sila. I ended up with WES, oks naman.

Hmm.. If by actual curriculum and relevant units ang assessment, ano naman kaya basis nung online assessment tool nila? Di ko lang kasi magets. Same kasi ang result sa actual ko. Medyo naguguluhan lang kaya Im having thoughts going for IQAS. :D

No idea on the online assessment, haven't really seen that. Although unfortunately, normal na "lower" ang assessment ng PH credentials vs Canadian or any first-world education system for that matter. Factor din na US education system ang Pilipinas compared to British system ng Canada. Best to explore other options to increase your CRS score, like work experience and IELTS, even the provincial nomination route.

Agree ako dito. My 4 year course was assessed as 3yrs and my husband's 5yr course was assessed 4yrs. Both bachelor degrees. Please note that for provincial nominee programme (pnp) , they may have bachelor's degree as minimum requirement (i. e. Ontario - Human Capital).

Did your ECA report came from WES too?

@babyfreeverse

May I know what university or college are you from? If you don't mind. :)

I am from one of the Notre Dame Colleges with BSIT and my wife from University of Immaculate Concepcion with BSN. Both of us has an equivalence of "Completion of secondary school education and Community College Diploma (2 years)" on our ECA reports.

I think in general talaga lower siya by at least 1 year. I'm not sure kung ano criteria nila... My husband graduated from Ateneo de Manila University and I'm from Mapùa.

Always make sure na yung information mo sa profile matches your passport.

Thanks for the response po. Ask ko lang din po if wala na po kayo inattach na other supporting docs para mapakita na same person lang yung mga walang middle name? LOE lang po ginawa nyo? Thank you po ulit.

LOE lang kasi pag nag upload ka makikita naman nila ibat ibang version ng pangalan mo sa documents i.e. Birth cert, marriage cert, WES, IELTS, diploma, emp reference letter, etc.

If for eAPR, may placeholder dun for LOE.

Hope this helps!
