I am the sponsor and the representative for my husband’s file. Today i received an email regarding the passport request. My husband did not receive any email. The email is addressed to him as it shows his name on it. I forwarded the email to him. He will take his passport to VFS tomorrow. In this case do we need to fill the consent form? Please advise. I appreciate your help.

I am curious too - did @sroy2017 get any news/update? I know Sue and Sroy were neck and neck timeline wise - since Sue got her PPR, probably sroy got it too.
I think he must got PPR it as he was so upset. If not, then he must had came to this forum showing his concern since he was so connected to it.

Since he is the applicant so consent not needed..

Hi @sroy2017, congratulations. Did you visit the Visa Office and pursue them? I am planning on going there, as I have not heard a thing.
I went there but it was not at all helpful. They didn' let me the sponsor in the embassy. Then when my wife went in they refused to give any information regarding the file. All they said that we Have to wait for the whole pocess to finish. They emphasised that they have taken 1 year time for a reason and we should only contact them if the time has passed. In regards to the emails we send them. They said we only respond when we have something to say or inform the client. :):):)
So all in all it was a waste of time and money. But if u like u can take ur chances. Good luck.
